Darko Štante was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He graduated from the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Ljubljana. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in film directing at the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. His work includes the shorts Intimacy (11) and Them (14). Consequences (18) is his debut feature.
